Baseline ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Baseline handles information when you use our iOS application.

Baseline is designed with a privacy-first architecture. We believe your health data is deeply personal and should remain entirely under your control.

We do not collect any personal information.

Baseline operates entirely on your device. The app reads health data from Apple HealthKit with your explicit permission, but this data is:

HealthKit Data

Baseline requests read-only access to the following HealthKit data types to display your health metrics:

You have complete control over which data types Baseline can access. You can modify these permissions at any time in your device's Settings app under Privacy & Security → Health → Baseline.

Data Storage

On-Device Storage

Baseline stores the following data locally on your device:

This data is stored using iOS standard storage mechanisms and is protected by your device's security features (passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID).

No Cloud Storage

Baseline does not use any cloud storage services. Your data is not synced to iCloud, our servers, or any third-party services.

Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties.

The only way data leaves Baseline is if you explicitly choose to export a report. When you generate and share a report, you control exactly what is shared and with whom through iOS's standard share sheet.

Children's Privacy

Baseline does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is intended for use by individuals who can legally consent to share their health data. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us.

Data Retention

Since we do not collect any data, there is no data retention on our part. Your health data remains in Apple HealthKit, and your app preferences remain on your device until you delete the app.
